Guests must be 21 years of age or older to book a room. A valid credit card (which must not expire before the reservation’s arrival date) is required to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card and government ID is required upon check-in.
Check-In and Check-Out
Guests may check-in any time between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Guests must check-out before 11:00 AM. The Yankee Clipper’s main office is open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. If you expect to check-in after 9:00 PM please notify the front desk as soon as possible. You can still reach motel staff after closing hours by calling (207).338.2353.
If your plans change and you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please do so two days prior to your arrival date to avoid charges to your credit card. Please be sure to receive an email confirmation as proof of your cancellation. If we do not receive your cancellation or modification notice by 3:00 PM two days prior to the arrival date we will charge a fee equal to the cancellation or modification. Departing early will be regarded as a last-minute cancellation, and the guest will be charged for the entire stay booked.
Rates and Occupancy
Dogs are welcome in our designated pet friendly rooms. Please be sure to check with the reservation desk for availability if you will be bringing your dog. All dogs must be registered and there is a pet fee of $20 per dog per night. We do not have a size restriction but the limit is two pets per room. Please remember to pick up after your pet!
No Smoking Policy
The Yankee Clipper Motel is proud to be a 100% non smoking facility. Smoking of any kind or burning of incense or candles in the guest rooms or common areas is prohibited. Guests may be asked to leave without reimbursement and assessed a cleaning fee (minimum $200) if it has been determined that they have been smoking in their room. Ashtrays are available at the front desk for outdoor use.
